Course Overview
Geoinformatics is concerned with the collection, management, and analysis of spatial and geographic data using modern technologies, with the aim of supporting planning and decision-making in various fields. The specialization combines geographic information systems (GIS), remote sensing, global positioning systems (GPS), and spatial data analysis to produce accurate digital maps and models. It also aims to prepare specialists capable of employing geographical technologies in the fields of urban development, natural resource management, environmental protection and infrastructure.
