Course Overview
This major focuses on integrating accounting with financial investigation to detect fraud and financial crimes. Students learn how to analyze financial statements, track suspicious transactions, detect manipulation of accounts, as well as understand the legal aspects associated with financial issues. It also studies auditing, financial analysis, and risk management, with a particular focus on investigative techniques and the collection of financial evidence.
