Course Overview
Geomatics Engineering is concerned with the collection, management, and analysis of spatial and geographic data using modern technologies, such as geographic information systems (GIS), remote sensing, global positioning systems (GPS), and engineering surveying. The specialization aims to prepare engineers capable of producing digital maps, managing geographical data, and employing them in urban planning, engineering projects, and natural resources management. It also focuses on the use of advanced technology to support decision-making and solve problems related to place and the environment.
