Course Overview
Nuclear Engineering is concerned with the study of the applications of nuclear energy and related technologies in energy production, industry, medicine, and scientific research. The specialization focuses on understanding nuclear reactions, the design and operation of nuclear reactors, safety and radiation systems, as well as the management of nuclear fuel and waste. It also aims to prepare engineers capable of developing and using nuclear technologies safely and effectively, in a way that contributes to meeting energy needs and supporting scientific and technical progress.
