Course Overview

This specialization focuses on ensuring food safety and quality at all stages of production, storage and distribution. It is concerned with protecting the consumer from food contamination and ensuring that food products comply with international health standards. It combines food science, laboratories, and quality and safety systems. The student studies subjects such as: Food Safety Food Quality Control Food Microbiology Food Analysis Quality systems such as HACCP and ISO Food Inspection Food Preservation and Packaging Techniques
