Course Overview
This specialization focuses on the operation and maintenance of engineering systems within ships and marine vessels. It is concerned with how ship engines, propulsion, electricity, and cooling systems work in-house to ensure that they operate efficiently and safely at sea.
It differs from Naval Architecture because this discipline is more concerned with internal systems and operation, rather than the design of the ship's shape.
