Course Overview
Food science is a scientific discipline that is concerned with the study of food from its production stage to its arrival to the consumer, with a focus on ensuring its quality, safety, and nutritional value. The specialization aims to prepare specialists capable of developing food products, analyzing their ingredients, applying quality and food safety standards, and using modern technologies in food processing and preservation. The student also gains skills to work in food laboratories and factories, and contributes to the development of food industries and improves the quality of products.
