Course Overview
This specialization focuses on the analysis, design, and assurance of the safety of engineering structures such as buildings, bridges, aircraft, ships, and industrial facilities. The goal is to ensure that these structures withstand loads and pressures and remain safe throughout their operational life.
It focuses on understanding how and why structures fail (such as cracks or collapses) and how this is prevented using engineering analysis and advanced materials.
